21-day meditation experience with Deepak

January 5, 2015 By brittandreatta

One of the things I’ve been doing to prepare myself to be a “soul@work” is I meditate. I’m not great at it (I have total monkey mind), and I only started a few months ago, but I am trying to get in the habit of doing a little every day. And it helps! I feel calmer and more in touch with my higher self.

I absolutely love the 21-day meditations that Deepak Chopra does in partnership with Oprah. They both give a lovely intro that frames the lesson of the day and then you meditate for 10 minutes on that concept. Even I can sit still for 10 minutes.

And there is an inspirational image and quote each day along with an online journal. Just my speed. For the holidays, I bought myself the 3-pack set, which I can watch on my computer or download to an app on my iPhone.

I decided to start the year with “Finding Your Flow” program so if you want to join along with me, please do. Each day, I will tweet a little of my own insight about how the concept applies to our day jobs.

And please follow me on my “souls@work” twitter account.

"Britt is a gifted facilitator, period. Whether in a large group setting or one-to-one, she guides in a way that keeps focus and structure while allowing for and encouraging spontaneous discovery. She knows the power that lies in the process itself, and creates an environment that encourages personal insight to emerge. I have benefitted greatly from some deep discoveries that have occurred in one-to-one and small group settings with Britt."

"Facilitating change, transformation and the realization of our authentic selves is clearly one of Britt’s many gifts and callings. Britt consistently brings kindness, compassion and a tireless commitment to supporting people in going for their dreams. She is a talented group facilitator, an empowering life coach, and an inspiring public speaker and teacher. It has been a priceless gift having Britt’s support in my life."
