I love this time of year. The light changes and we begin to see signs of spring everywhere. The smell of orange blossoms in the air, the sight of monarch caterpillars munching away, and the sound of birds as they build their nests — all of these things remind me that spring is a time of new growth.
And what better way to celebrate spring than by making or updating your vision board? This is a great time to invite some friends over, share some munchies and magazines, light some candles, and spend an evening crafting your future.
The purpose of a vision board is to be a visual representation of what you are creating in your life. Research has shown that if you can see an outcome clearly, you are much more likely to achieve it. In addition, many spiritual practices believe that if you look at your vision and bring up the emotions and feelings associated with having already achieved it, especially gratitude, then you activate the universal Law of Attraction and can essentially call that vision into your life.
Personally, I have found vision boards to be very powerful. They have worked 100% of the time in my life. Make a date to create your vision board, or update one you already have. If energy has gotten stagnant on one of your goals, a new or revised vision board can get things moving again.

This spring ritual can be a great way to tie in to goals you made at the beginning of the year. Get our your new year’s resolutions and take stock of how things are going and make an intentional choice to tweak things as needed.
And be sure to celebrate your successes! If you have achieved any progress on your goals, you should acknowledge your accomplishment!
