Hello all. It has been a long time since I have posted and I wanted to let you know why. First, I have had some great opportunities come my way like the invitation to do a TEDx talk, which I titled How Your Past Hijacks Your Future. I hope you will watch it and share on social media! I hope to get to the big TED stage one day and number of views matters.

I was also recently chosen as a finalist for Chief Learning Officer magazine’s Trailblazer Award for the work I have been doing at lynda.com. I will find out in October if I’m receiving the gold, silver or bronze award but I have been really focused on building a robust learning and development program there.

I am currently working on a book, The Potential Paradigm, which is about how we all can harness our biology to achieve our fullest potential. As a result, I have been building my www.BrittAndreatta.com website to be where I blog on topics related to our wiring to survive and belong and how we need to address those before we can become our best selves. Learn more by watching my TEDx talk.

It is my intention and vision to bring some of these important concepts to the business world because I honestly believe that until we change how workplaces are set up, we cannot truly create the society us Soul Schoolers want to live in. Having consulted with a lot of organizations, I know that the way through is a message more about harnessing the potential of both people and places. My favorite books on this topic at the moment are:

  • Firms of Endearment: How world-class companies profit from passion and purpose by Sisodia, Wolfe, and Sheth (2013)
  • Thrive: The 3rd metric to redefining success and creating a life of well-being, wisdom, and wonder  by Arianna Huffington (2014)
  • Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the heroic spirit of business by John Mackey (2013)
  • Wisdom 2.0: The new movement toward purposeful engagement in business and life by Soren Gordhamer (2009)

I still deeply believe in the spiritual principles I write about here and will continue to post. But since a lot of my writing focus is now on The Potential Paradigm, I will be inviting guest bloggers to post on the topics that you’ll find in the Wheel of Wellbeing and the Wellness Toolbox. So stay tuned for more great content and consider also subscribing to BrittAndreatta.com to receive posts about The Potential Paradigm.

Warmly, Britt

"Britt is a gifted facilitator, period. Whether in a large group setting or one-to-one, she guides in a way that keeps focus and structure while allowing for and encouraging spontaneous discovery. She knows the power that lies in the process itself, and creates an environment that encourages personal insight to emerge. I have benefitted greatly from some deep discoveries that have occurred in one-to-one and small group settings with Britt."

"Facilitating change, transformation and the realization of our authentic selves is clearly one of Britt’s many gifts and callings. Britt consistently brings kindness, compassion and a tireless commitment to supporting people in going for their dreams. She is a talented group facilitator, an empowering life coach, and an inspiring public speaker and teacher. It has been a priceless gift having Britt’s support in my life."
