Wow, this quote really hit me in the solar plexus. It’s such a strong statement about the value of our choices and to be mindful of what we are exchanging our precious time on this planet for.
It’s so easy to get caught up in lots of small stuff or even the medium-sized, quasi-important stuff and forget to really look at the bigger picture.
This quote is a call to me to continue to simplify my life. What am I spending time on that I don’t really need to be doing? Or better yet, what is my metric for determining what is “important”? Is it really worth a portion of my life? Hmmmm…
